We've reserved the coolest name for the most 'bad ass' rental we have. Vandræðaskáli (pronounced - van-dray-tha-ska-lee’) which combines the Old Norse words for adventure or trouble (‘vandræði’) and shelter (‘skáli’). It evokes the spirit of self-reliance and the thrill of facing the wilderness just as the Vikings did with just themselves and maybe a shelter if they were lucky. We'll provide you with the shelter, and the land right by the river, but you're on your own for everything else - unless you need something, then we are happy to provide!
AMENITIES
Semi Private Site
What you give up on in privacy, you get back in location. This site is on the main promenade ( circle walk of the village) but is the closest site to the water and surrounded by beautiful trees. It is our most sought after location.
Parking available on the land
Parking is available on site near the entry gate. If you have a 4x4 we will grant special entry for you to transport your gear down, but vehicles are not permitted overnight in the Village.
Premium Tent provided
We provide you with a premium outfitter tent that we will set up for you.
Transport to your tent Via 4x4
Since your luxury tent is located off-grid and away from roads, we will transport you and your gear directly to your site.
Picnic Table
A personal Picnic table is provided for your site.
