Welcome to our short term RV and tent sites, where you can experience the glory of the Norse gods in a stunning natural setting.If you're looking for a viking vacation that's more relaxing than raiding, then you'll love our RV and tent sites. You can park your modern chariot or pitch your tent in one of our scenic spots, overlooking the majestic mountains and the expansive fields. These sites are meant as a respite for the weary traveler and are boondock only ( no hookups.) You can enjoy the Viking activities in the community around us, such as fishing, hiking, and horseback riding. Whether you want to chill out or have some fun, you'll find your perfect Viking 'respite' stop here. Book your site now and get ready to say "Skål!" to nature. 4 night maximum*RV's will be boondocking *There is no outhouse for these sites currently *Campers must be self-sufficient
Easy Access
Access is right off the main logging road that goes through town ( Birch Island Lost Creek Rd) for easy access. During Fall/Winter the roads are plowed
Parking
Parking is right at your reserved site with your RV or Trailer. For tent camping you can park your car with you. If there are multiple vehicles, there is parking out on the logging road just outside the gate
Amazing Views
These short term sites are located right in a farmers field and have the best views on the property. 360 degree mountain views and incredible sunsets
Close to Wells Gray Provinical Park
These sites are located in Vavenby, B.C. which is only 20 mins away from Clearwater, B.C. which is the Gateway to Wells Gray Park. Avoid the crowds in the park and grab a more serene site before you visit the park.
Close to main highway
These sites are located only 5 mins off the main highway ( Highway #5) for ease of arrival and departure if you are traveling farther along the highway.
Dedicated Outhouse
NOT AVAILABLE UNTIL AUG 2024 As our short term stay sites do not have plugins, water or septic you must be prepared to boondock or camp. There is a dedicated outhouse on site if you wish to keep your tanks clean or are camping in tents
